Ingredients:

• Basmati Rice – 1 cup
• Cabbage (cut into small strips) – 1 cup
• Beans (cut into small pieces) – 1/4 cup
• Green bell pepper (cut into small strips) – 1/4 cup
• Onions – 1
• Spring onions – 1 small bunch
• Carrots (cut into small strips) – 1/4 cup
• Oil – 3.5 tbsp
• Salt as required
• Grind together:
• Green chillies – 6
• Garlic – 4

Method:

  1. Wash and cook the rice. Allow it to cool and separate the grains.
  2. To this rice, add the chilli-garlic paste.
  3. Now, heat oil in a pan and fry the cut vegetables one by one as follows: onions, beans, carrots, bell pepper, cabbage and, in the end, the spring onions.
  4. When they are cooked, add salt and the cooked rice.
  5. Fry on high flame till the rice becomes hot.
