Ingredients:

• 250g – soy nuggets
• 100g – Maida
• 2 – Onions
• 2 – Capsicum
• 4 – Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – Tomato ketchup
• 1/2 tsp – soy sauce
• 1/2 tsp – Vinegar
• 1 – Garlic Clove
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt
• 1/4 tsp – black pepper powder

Method:

  1. Boil nuggets, squeeze out excess water.
  2. Make a batter of maida and salt with a little water and dip the nuggets in it and fry till golden brown.
  3. Slice onions and capsicums and fry in a little oil.
  4. Puree tomato and garlic and add to the fried onion-capsicum, along with tomato ketchup, soy sauce, red chilli powder, salt and black pepper. Fry for 5 mins.
  5. Add the fried nuggets and vinegar to the puree, and mix well for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve as a starter.
