
Ingredients:
• 4 cups – Milk
• 4 tsp – finely sliced china grass
• 5 tbsp – Sugar
• 4 tbsp – Cream
• A few drops – essence of your choice
• 4 tbsp – finely sliced mixed nuts
• A few – whole candied Cherries
• A few drops each – various food colours
Method:
- Dissolve china grass in 1/2 cup water over a slow fire.
- Also dissolve sugar in milk over a slow fire.
- Add china grass to the milk, bring to a boil and remove from fire.
- Cool, mix in nuts, essence and cream.
- Put the mixture in individual glass ice cream cups.
- In each cup add a few drops of different food colours.
- Set in a cool place or in the fridge to set.
- Decorate each cup with a whole cherry and serve chilled.
