
Ingredients:
• Cauliflower – 1 large
• Marinade:
• Cornflour – 2 tbsp
• Maida – 2 tbsp
• Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Pepper powder – 1 tsp
• Garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
• Ginger paste – 1/2 tsp
• Beaten Egg – 1
• Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
• For Sauce:
• Oil – 3 tbsps
• Onion – 1
• Ginger – 1 tbsp
• Garlic – 1 tbsp
• Green chillies – 6
• Spring onion – 1/2 cup
• Celery chopped – 1 cup
• Capsicum – 1 large
• Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
• Tomato sauce – 2 tsp
• Soya sauce – 2 tsp
• Sugar – 1 tsp
• Cornflour – 1 tbsp
• Ajinomoto – a pinch
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Cut the cauliflower, put the florets in salted boiling water.
- Drain and mix well with the marinade ingredients. Keep aside for 15 mins.
- Deep fry the cauliflower in sufficient oil. Keep aside.
- To prepare the sauce, heat oil, fry chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies for a minute.
- Then add chopped onion and fry till golden brown.
- Add capsicum and cellery and saute for a minute.
- Now add all sauces, salt and a cup of water.
- Add the fried cauliflower in it and cook for 2-3 mins.
- Finally add corn flour mixed in a 1/4 cup of water and cook in high heat for about 5 mins.
- Then sprinkle sugar and garnish with chopped spring onion.
