Ingredients:
• 1 cup – peel of Chinese Okra
• 5-6 – Green chillies
• 3 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera
• 1 – Tamarind (lollipop size, soaked in water)
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp – chopped Garlic
• 1 tsp – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric (optional)
Method:
- Wash the peel of Chinese okra, dry them on a tissue and fry in 2 tbsp of oil.
- Add the green chillies, urad dal and jeera. Fry for 3-4 minutes and grind with the soaked tamarind.
- Heat 2 tsp of oil in a kadhai and add the minced garlic and coriander leaves to it. Add turmeric.
- Pour over the ground chutney.
- Serve with rice.
