
Ingredients:
• 500 g – medium-sized Prawns
• a pinch or two of Turmeric powder
• For the gravy: 2 – onions, medium-sized
• 1 tbsp – Garlic paste
• 1/2 tbsp – Ginger paste
• 4-5 – Green chillies
• 8-10 – black pepper Corns
• 10-15 g – fresh coriander
• 1 – tomato, medium-sized
• Other ingredients: 5 tbsp – Coconut Milk
• 1 tbsp – fresh Cream
• For seasoning: salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – Honey
• a little Mustard oil
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
Method:
- Mix turmeric powder and salt with the washed prawns; keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Saute the prawns in an oiled pan and keep aside.
- Wet-grind the gravy spices without excess water.
- Put 2 tbsp of oil in a kadhai; put 1 bay leaf and all the ground spices. Fry until the oil separates.
- Add the prawns and mix well.
- Add the other ingredients, mix well and let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Adjust the gravy as you please. Serve hot, preferably with veg pulav.
