
Ingredients:
• 250 g – small ladyfinger
• 2 – Green chilli
• 1/2 inch – Ginger
• 3/4 cup – Yoghurt
• 1 tsp – Bengal Gram flour(besan)
• 1/4 tsp – pepper
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli
• 1/2 tsp – cumin
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• a pinch of Turmeric powder
• salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and wipe ladysfinger dry. Chop off the ends and keep aside.
- Grind pepper and ginger to a fine paste.
- In a pan, add red chilli, cumin, slit green chillies, coriander powder, turmeric powder, besan and salt.
- Add the ladysfinger and cook for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Now add ginger-pepper paste and mix well.
- Lower heat, add yoghurt, and cook covered for 5 mins, stirring now and then till ladyfinger is cooked.
- Serve hot with rotis or phulka.
