Ingredients:
• 1 cup – moong dal
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1 cup – Ghee
• 2 cup – half and half (thick milk)
• 1 tbsp – besan
• 1 cup – water
• Almonds – 8
• Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
• Cashews – a few
Method:
- Soak dal for 4-5 hours and then grind it well. Make a syrup of sugar. Add saffron flakes to it.
- Heat ghee in a heavy saucepan and add dal paste.
- Add gram flour.
- Fry till ghee separates.
- Add half and half. When it dries up add sugar syrup little by little.
- When it dries up add cardamom powder, cashews and almonds
