
Ingredients:
• 1 – Lauki/Bottle gourd
• 1 cup – Milk
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 4-5 tsp – Ghee
• 1 – Cardamom pod
• 10-12 – Raisins/Sultanas (optional)
Method:
- Peel and grate lauki.
- In a pan, add grated lauki and milk and cook the lauki till tender and well cooked.
- Once the liquid evaporates, add sugar to it and mix well.
- Cook further till all the liquid content evaporates and the sugar melts.
- Now add ghee teaspoon by teaspoon with continuous mixing.
- Add crushed cardamom to the mixture on the pan.
- Mix well and cook till the mixture moves together leaving sides.
