Ingredients:

• 200 g – dried Prawns or shrimps.
• 6 – medium size onions, chopped finely.
• 300 g – oil.
• 2 tsp – chilli powder.
• 1 tbsp – chopped garlic.
• 1 tbsp – cumin powder.
• 4 tbsp – vinegar.

Method:

  1. Wash the dried prawns well and remove all the sandy residue.
  2. Drain off all the water.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the prawns, till golden brown.
  4. Remove and keep aside.
  5. Fry the onions in the remaining oil, till light brown.
  6. Add the chopped garlic, chilli powder, cumin powder, vinegar and saute for 10 minutes.
  7. Now add the fried prawns and simmer till dry.
