Ingredients:
• 1 kg – broiler Chicken (cut into medium-sized pieces)
• 4 to 5 – Tomatoes (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 6 to 8 – Kashmiri chillies
• a few peppercorns
• 2 – Cinnamons (small)
• a few strands of Saffron
• 1 tsp – Cumin seed powder
• salt to taste
Method:
- Clean and wash the chicken pieces.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
- Add the chillies, peppercorns and cinnamons.
- Saute the spices for a few seconds.
- Add the chicken pieces along with saffron and cumin seed powder.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Add tomatoes and mix well.
- Cook on low flame until the chicken becomes tender and dry.
- Serve hot.
