Ingredients:

• 1 – Banana (peeled, sliced)
• 1 – jalapeno or equivalent of Serrano chilli
• 1 cup – Curd
• 1 tsp – mustard
• salt and Sugar to taste

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients, except the mustard, and keep the raita aside.
  2. Grind the mustard with a pestle into a dry powder. Add some water and grind again until it leaves a strong, pungent aroma.
  3. Add the mustard paste to the raita and mix well.
  4. Serve with dal and roti or rice.
