
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 1/2 cup – Frozen, cut Spinach
• 2 to 3 tsp – Til seeds
• 2 to 3 tsp – Oil
• 2 to 3 tsp – Jeera seeds
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger/garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Hing
• 3 to 4 tsp – Chilli powder
• Coriander leaves (optional)
• 1 tsp – Lemon juice
• Sugar to taste
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Dry roast the til seeds till golden brown.
- Mix all the ingredients, except the wheat flour, with the spinach, and cook it in the microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes.
- If you are using fresh methi leaves, first chop them and cook with a little water in the microwave before mixing with the other ingredients.
- Mix the spinach curry/mix with the wheat flour and add the oil and a little warm water to bring it to the consistency of chapati dough.
- Season with salt, sugar, and chilli powder according to taste and leave it aside for a few minutes.
- Roll the dough out into chapatis and cook them on a hot tawa.
