Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Butter (unsalted)
• 2 cups – all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup – granulated Sugar
• 2 tsp – vanilla
• 1.5 cups – hazelnut/pecans/walnuts (finely chopped)
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• powdered/confectionary Sugar for coating

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a couple of baking trays with parchment and keep it aside.
  2. In the bowl of a mixer, add the sugar and butter.
  3. Cream them until light and fluffy. Now add the salt and vanilla and mix them well.
  4. To the butter mixture, add flour little by little and mix well until completely incorporated and forms a dough.
  5. Now add the chopped nuts and mix them well.
  6. Make about half inch balls and place them in the prepared cookies sheet.
  7. Bake them for about 25 mins or until slightly browned.
  8. As soon as they come out of the oven, roll them in powdered sugar and set them aside in a cooling rack.
  9. Be extremely careful since the cookies would be really hot and very fragile.
  10. It is very important to roll them as soon as they come out of the oven to get the sugar to coat well.
  11. Once the cookies have cooled down entirely, roll them again, for the second time in the powdered sugar.
