Ingredients:
• 150 g – dried figs, chopped
• 3 tbsp – roasted almonds, chopped
• a big pinch Saffron
• 2 tsp – hot Milk
• 2 cup – Curd cheese
• 1/2 cup – Honey
• 1/2 cup – icing Sugar
• 1 cup – double Cream
• extra Honey to garnish
Method:
- Soak figs in 1/2 cup of boiling hot water for 30 minutes. Add the roasted almonds.
- Soak saffron in hot milk and crush.
- Beat the curd cheese till smooth. Stir in the honey and icing sugar.
- Mix in the figs, almonds and saffron.
- Whip the cream till thick and fold into the fig mixture.
- Serve well chilled, drizzled with honey.
