Ingredients:

• 200gm – Fried Channa dal
• 4 Green chillies
• 2 tbsp – Desiccated Coconut /fresh grated Coconut
• 1/4 tsp – Jeera
• 1/2 tsp -Tamarind paste (or 1tsp Lime juice)
• 3 Cloves of Garlic (peeled)
• Salt
• 2tsp – Chopped, coriander
• For tempering: 1tsp – Oil 1/4 -Mustard seeds
• 6 Curry Patta leaves
• 1tsp – Urad Dal Red Chilli (broken into pieces)

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients for chutney and grind to a fine paste.
  2. Prepare tempering and pour this over chutney. Mix well and serve.
  3. Can be served with dosa/ idli/ pongal/ upma.
