
Ingredients:
• 4 – idli
• 1 cup – finely sliced Onion
• 1 cup – finely sliced Tomato
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – mustard
• a pinch – Turmeric
• a pinch – Asafoetida
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry
Method:
- Cut the idlis into small cubes and deep fry in oil.
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a kadai. Add mustard and when it splutters, add turmeric powder, asafoetida.
- Saute the onions.
- Add the tomatoes.
- Add chilli powder and salt and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the fried idlis and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
