
Ingredients:
• 500 g – minced Meat
• 100 g – Raw papaya
• 20 g – Coconut
• 3 tbsp – Poppy Seeds
• 3 full tbsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp – besan (gram flour)
• Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil for shallow frying
Method:
- Grind the papaya.
- Mix ground papaya, ginger-garlic paste and salt with minced meat.
- Set aside for 5 hours (or overnight).
- It will feel soft to the touch when done.
- Cut and fry onions.
- Make a paste of coconut and khaskhas.
- Saute the besan without oil on tawa or frying pan.
- After marination, mix garam masala, red chilli powder, coconut-khaskhas paste, sauteed besan and fried onions into the marinated mixture.
- Make patties (tikkis) of this mixture and shallow fry until they are brown.
- Enjoy hot kebabs with green coriander chutney or tomato ketchup.
