Ingredients:
• Khoya – 100 g
• Coconut (grated) – 1/2 cup
• Dry fruits – 1/2 cup
• Powdered Sugar – 1.5 cups
• Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
• Nutmeg powder – 1/2 tsp
• Paneer (grated) – 1/2 cup
• Fragrant Rice powder – 2 cups
• Oil – 1 cup
• Milkmaid – 1 tin
• A few Cherries and chopped Almonds
Method:
- Put water and oil in a pan and boil.
- Add the rice powder and stir continuously.
- When the mixture becomes thick, let it cool.
- Mix the khoya, coconut, dry fruits, sugar, cardamom powder, nutmeg and paneer on medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture is completely dry.
- Prepare 10 small balls with the rice mixture.
- Make a hollow in the centre of the balls and stuff in the khoya filling, giving the balls the shape of a ladoo.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls until they become light brown.
- Put the modaks on a plate, pour Milkmaid and garnish with cherries and chopped almonds.
