Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Chickpea flour
• 1 tsp – carom
• 1/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/8 tsp – Turmeric powder, optional
• Salt to taste
• Oil to deep-fry

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl to make a soft-dough.
  2. If the dough is sticky, apply some oil on the dough and knead it for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  4. Set a big-hole net in sev-maker and grease it with few drops of oil.
  5. Divide this dough into 2 logs and put in sev-maker.
  6. Heat oil and deep fry till it turns golden brown in colour.
