Ingredients:
• 250 g – green beans
• 1 – small tomato, deseeded
• 2 tsp – sesame seeds
• 1 – Onion
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 tbsp – dry Fenugreek leaves
• 1 tbsp- oil
• 1/2 tsp- sesame seeds, garnish.
Method:
- Cut the beans into long strips.
- Grind the sesame seeds, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, garlic, onion into a smooth paste, using 1 tbsp of water.
- Deseed the tomato and cut them into cubes.
- In a kadai, dry roast the sesame seeds and keep it aside.
- In a kadai add oil and saute the ground paste for 2 mins in a low flame.
- Add the kasoori methi and tomatoes.
- Saute for a minute.
- Add the green beans and mix well.
- Cover and cook for 15 mins, stirring in between.
- Garnish with dry roasted sesame seeds.
