Ingredients:

• 250 g – green beans
• 1 – small tomato, deseeded
• 2 tsp – sesame seeds
• 1 – Onion
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1/2 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 tbsp – dry Fenugreek leaves
• 1 tbsp- oil
• 1/2 tsp- sesame seeds, garnish.

Method:

  1. Cut the beans into long strips.
  2. Grind the sesame seeds, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, garlic, onion into a smooth paste, using 1 tbsp of water.
  3. Deseed the tomato and cut them into cubes.
  4. In a kadai, dry roast the sesame seeds and keep it aside.
  5. In a kadai add oil and saute the ground paste for 2 mins in a low flame.
  6. Add the kasoori methi and tomatoes.
  7. Saute for a minute.
  8. Add the green beans and mix well.
  9. Cover and cook for 15 mins, stirring in between.
  10. Garnish with dry roasted sesame seeds.
