
Ingredients:
• 150 gms – Peas
• 50 gms – Onion
• 20 gms – Celery
• 10 gms – Green chilli
• 100 ml – Milk
• 2 tsp – Butter
• 1 tbsp – Flour
• 4 cups – Water
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Pepper powder
Method:
- Set a deep pressure pan on the stove at high.
- Once hot, lower the heat to medium.
- Put 1 tsp. of butter into the pan, add the onions.
- Fry the onions until glazed.
- Add the peas, celery, green chillies and saute.
- Add the water and allow three whistles.
- Puree the ingredients in a food processor.
- Take another deep vessel. Set the heat on high and lower to medium.
- Add 1 tsp. of butter.
- Add the flour, roast it stirring continuously.
- Add the milk and make a smooth sauce. Add the pureed ingredients into the sauce and stir well. Add the salt and pepper.
- This soup can be garnished with a sprig of celery, or even served with celery sticks.
