Ingredients
– 500 gm soft khoya
– 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
– 2 cup powdered sugar
– 4 tablespoon Gulkand
– 6-4 almonds
– 1 teaspoon pista
– 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds, semi crushed
How To Make?
1. On a LOW flame, heat the heavy pan and add Gulkand to it. Stir it properly so the soft lumps will not remain.
2. Now, remove the pan from the flame and keep it aside to cool.
3. With the help of grater, grate the khoya and add powdered sugar to it and mix them well.
4. In a non-sticky pan, add the mixture and heat it over a HIGH flame for 2-3 minutes.
5. After that, reduce the heat and keep stirring the mixture continuously.
6. When the mixture becomes thick, remove it from the heat. Then add cardamom powder to it and mix them well.
7. Allow it to cool and keep stirring occasionally.
8. Now, take a small part of the mixture into your palm and flatten it. Then place a small amount of Gulkand mixture to it and flattened the piece.
9. Now, again roll it so the Gulkand is completely covered into the mixture and slightly press it.
10. Repeat the process with remaining mixture to make rolls.
11. Garnish the rolls with almonds, pista and cardamom seeds.
12. Gulkand Peda is ready to serve.
