Ingredients:

• Fresh Ilsa fish – 2 kg
• 3 tbsp – Mustard oil
• Salt to taste
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Grind together:
• 2 tsp – yellow Mustard Seed
• 3-4 – Green chillies

Method:

  1. Wash fish and drain properly.
  2. Marinate with mustard paste, oil, salt and turmeric powder for 1 hour.
  3. Take a pressure pan pour a glass of water in it and keep a steel bowl in it.
  4. Put all the fish pieces properly in it and if needed 1 tsp mustard oil can be added.
  5. Cover and steam for 15 mins without weight.
  6. Simmer it for sometime and serve.
