
Ingredients:
• 2 cup – besan
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – citric acid
• 1 tsp – Eno
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 5-6 – Green chillies
• 1 cup – sugared water
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves
Method:
- In a pressure cooker, boil water and keep it ready to steam the khaman.
- Mix the first five ingredients with water and make a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased thali and keep it in the cooker.
- Cook it for 10 minutes without using the whistle.
- Let it cool for a 5 – 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds.
- When they pop, add chopped green chillies and sugared water.
- Pour the oil over the khaman.
- Cut into pieces and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and grated coconut.
