Ingredients:

• For sauce:
• 1 can Tomato puree (about 200 grams)
• 3 medium sized Onions
• 7-8 flakes of Garlic
• 2 tbsp cooking oil
• finely chopped Coriander leaves
• salt
• chilli powder to taste
• For pasts:
• 1 packet spaghetti noodles
• 1 tbsp cooking oil
• Water
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Chop two onions into fine pieces.
  2. Grind another onion and garlic to a fine paste.
  3. Saute the finely chopped onions till light golden brown.
  4. Add the onion-garlic paste and saute for two minutes.
  5. Now, add the tomato puree, required quantity of salt and chilli powder and mix well.
  6. Add some water to get the right consistency.
  7. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
  8. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  9. For pasta:
  10. Add the required quantity of salt to the water and bring it to a boil.
  11. Add some oil to the water. This is to prevent the spaghetti from becoming sticky.
  12. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water.
  13. Allow the spaghetti to boil for around five minutes, till they are properly done.
  14. The cooking time may vary depending on the type of noodles.
  15. Make sure they are not overcooked.
  16. Strain them after they are properly done.
  17. Top the spaghetti with the sauce and serve hot.
