Ingredients:
• 1 cup – raw Jackfruit pieces
• 1/2 cup – Channa dhal
• 4 tbsp – grated Coconut
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 6 or 8 Curry leaves
• 2 – red chillies, broken into bits
• salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 2 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
- Pressure cook the jack fruit, channa dhal, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt with sufficient water till they become soft.
- Heat oil in a vessel and add the mustard seeds.
- When they begin to splutter add the dry red chillies and curry leaves and fry for a couple of minutes.
- Mix to the cooked jackfruit and the grated coconut.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
