Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Maida
• 1 cup – Putnaalu (like Channa Daal used for Idli Chutney)
• 3/4 cup – Jaggery or Sugar (combination of the two tastes good too)
• 3/4 cup – Coconut
• Oil for deep frying

Method:

  1. Make a dough of maida (this should be exactly like chapatti dough).
  2. Dry grind all the above separately into coarse powder.
  3. Now mix all these three and grind once more.
  4. Make a small puri from maida. Put 2 spoons of powder in the middle and close it to form semi-circle. Deep fry this in oil.
