Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp Rice
• 1/4 kg Jaggery
• 1/2 cup Milk
• 4 cups – water
• 1/2 Coconut, grated
• 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds
• Powder of 4 Cardamoms

Method:

  1. Soak rice for half an hour. Grind it.
  2. Grind poppy seeds, coconut and cardamom.
  3. Melt jaggery in 4 cups of water on low fire. When melted, increase heat and bring to a boil.
  4. Add ground mixture and rice.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes stirring all the time.
  6. Cool and add milk.
  7. Decorate with nuts.
