Ingredients:
• 3 cups – gram flour
• 1/2 cup – semolina (rava)
• 1/2 cup – Milk
• 2 cups – sugar, powdered
• 1 cup – Ghee
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 2 drops – kewra or rose essence (optional)
Method:
- Warm ghee in a heavy pan.
- Add flour, rava and stir fry on a low flame, stirring continuously with a spatula.
- This step takes time, so do not roast on high flame as the end result will not be good.
- When the flour is golden brown and aroma exudes, take off fire.
- Add milk and blend in a mixie for a few seconds, till well mixed.
- Cool the mixture. Add sugar, cardamom, essence and mix well.
- Shape into laddoos of desired shape.
- Cool completely, before storing in airtight container.
