Ingredients:

• 250 g – Lobia (soaked for 3 to 4 hrs)
• 1 onion, chopped fine
• 2 green chillies, chopped fine
• 6 Garlic cloves, peeled
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 10 Curry leaves
• 1/2 tbsp – chopped, coriander
• 1/4 tsp – Jeera
• 1 Red Chilli
• 1/2 tbsp – oil
• salt

Method:

  1. Cook soaked lobia with salt in a pressure cooker up to 3 whistles,
  2. Drain the beans and keep aside.
  3. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin, red chilli, crushed garlic and curry leaves
  4. Fry till the mustard seeds splutter, add onion and green chilli; fry till the onion becomes pink.
  5. Add boiled lobia, mix well, check salt, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, mix well and keep covered for 1 to 2 mins
  6. Remove and serve along with tea.
