
Ingredients:
• Paneer kofta:
• 2 – Potatoes (cooked & mashed)
• 1 cup – Paneer (scrambled)
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 2 – Green chillies (chopped)
• 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
• 2 tbsp – Cornflour
• Salt
• Oil
• For curry:
• 1 cup – Green peas
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 2 cups – Tomato puree (store bought)
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 cup – Cream
• Oil
• Salt
• Chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
- Paneer kofta:
- Take the mashed potatoes, scrambled paneer, garam masala powder, green chillies, corn flour and salt in a bowl.
- Fry the onions until they turn translucent.
- Add this to the potato-paneer mixture, make medium-sized balls.
- Heat oil in paniyaram pans, fry the koftas until the outer layer turns golden brown. Keep aside.
- For curry:
- Heat enough oil, fry the cumin seeds and bay leaves, add onions and garlic ginger paste and saute.
- Add the green peas, cook for few seconds. Then add the tomato puree, garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder, sugar, and salt.
- Cook on low flame for a few minutes.
- Add the cream to the gravy, cook on low flame until the oil separates from the gravy. Garnish with coriander leaves.
- When serving add the koftas to the gravy and serve with chapattis, rotis, naan, or ghee rice.
