Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – Toor Dal
• 1 – Mango (green), cut into pieces
• 1 pinch Hing
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 – twig curry leaf
• 1/2 tsp – mustard, Jeera
• For Seasoning: 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1 pinch – Haldi
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pressure cook dal, mango, haldi, hing. Let it cool.
  2. Take oil in a kadai, add mustard, let it splutter and then add jeera, chilli powder and curry leaves.
  3. Add dal and salt and let it boil for 3 minutes.
  4. For extra spice, you may add little rasam powder.
  5. Serve hot with rice.
