Ingredients:

• 2 tsp – Methi seeds
• 1 tsp – white sesame seeds
• 2 tsp – Coconut
• a pinch – mustard
• a pinch – Haldi
• 2 to 3 – dry Red Chillies
• 2 tsp – fried grams
• small Lemon size – Tamarind
• Jaggery
• salt
• water
• oil – 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Fry white sesame seeds without adding oil till it changes colour and take it out.
  2. Grind coconut, dry red chillies, mustard, haldi, fried grams, tamarind, jaggery, fried white sesame seeds, salt, water.
  3. For Seasoning:
  4. Warm 2 tsp oil.
  5. Add mustard. When it starts to splutter, add methi seeds and fry for a while.
  6. Add dry red chillies, fry it for second.
  7. Add ground masala, little water and allow gravy to thicken.
  8. Transfer to a bowl and serve with chapatti, rice.
