• 2 cups – Almond (badam) paste, ground with half tsp Saffron
• 4 cups – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• Ghee for greasing a plate


  1. Mix the ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Pour half of it in an extra large glass bowl and microwave on high for 6 mins. Take it out every two minutes and mix well.
  3. Add 1 tbsp ghee. Then microwave on high for another 6 to 8 mins, stirring every two minutes.
  4. When it is done, the consistency will be thick and gooey.
  5. Immediately pour on to a greased plate to cool and set.
  6. Cut into shapes and serve.
