• 6-8 medium green Capsicum
• Salt
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1.5 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 onions, medium, cut into fine pieces
• 2 tbsp – fried Channa dal powder
• 1 tbsp – til, dry fried and powdered
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves


  1. Make a cross cut over capsicum and carefully remove seeds; keep aside.
  2. Take dal powder, til powder, red chilli powder, salt, 1 tsp oil, chopped onions and chopped coriander in a bowl.
  3. Mix thoroughly with fingers and keep aside for 2 mins.
  4. Fill the capsicums with stuffing, arrange them in a microwave safe tray, sprinkle the remaining stuffing masala and oil over them.
  5. Cover and cook under high for 6 mins (turn the capsicums once or twice).
  6. Microwave on high for another min, without lid.
  7. Check and remove, and serve as side dish.
