Ingredients:

• 1 cup – grated Corn
• 500 ml – Milk
• 1 tsp -almonds
• 1 tsp – Pistachios
• 1 tsp -cardamom powder
• Saffron
• Sugar

Method:

  1. Add grated corn, milk (reserving one tsp milk for later use) and sugar in a large casserole.
  2. Microwave on high for 5 mins without covering the casserole.
  3. Stir and microwave on high for 6 mins more. Stir once again.
  4. The milk will turn fairly thick and the corn will get cooked.
  5. Add the almonds, pistachios, and cardamom powder, reserving some for garnishing.
  6. Dissolve saffron in 1 tsp milk and add to the milk.
  7. Microwave on high for 2 mins.
  8. When cool, refrigerate the kheer till serving time.
