Ingredients:

• 2 cups – basmati Rice (or any other Rice)
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 3 – Cardamoms
• 3 – Cloves
• 2 small pieces – Cinnamon
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1/2 cup – Ghee

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in a pan or rice cooker, fry the bay leaves and spices for some time.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a few minutes.
  3. Add the washed rice and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add salt and 4 cups of water and cook till the rice is done.
