Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – raw Peanuts
• 1/4 cup – Almonds
• 1/4 cup – cashews
• 1/4 cup – Pistachios
• 1/3 cup – sesame seeds
• 2 tbsp – Flax seeds
• 2 tbsp – Sunflower seeds
• 1.5 cups – Jaggery
• a pinch of salt
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
Method:
- Roast the peanuts in a pan, remove the skin and keep aside.
- In the same pan, dry-roast the almonds, cashews and pistachios one by one.
- Heat 1/4 cup of water in a heavy bottomed vessel and add the jaggery.
- Heat on medium flame until the jaggery dissolves.
- Strain the jaggery water and heat on high flame, stirring continuously until the mixture turns thick.
- Add the roasted peanuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios, sesame seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, cardamom powder and salt to the jaggery syrup. Stir well until it turns thick.
- Grease a plate, pour the mixture and allow it to cool completely.
- Cut and store in an airtight box.
