Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – raw Peanuts
• 1/4 cup – Almonds
• 1/4 cup – cashews
• 1/4 cup – Pistachios
• 1/3 cup – sesame seeds
• 2 tbsp – Flax seeds
• 2 tbsp – Sunflower seeds
• 1.5 cups – Jaggery
• a pinch of salt
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder

Method:

  1. Roast the peanuts in a pan, remove the skin and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan, dry-roast the almonds, cashews and pistachios one by one.
  3. Heat 1/4 cup of water in a heavy bottomed vessel and add the jaggery.
  4. Heat on medium flame until the jaggery dissolves.
  5. Strain the jaggery water and heat on high flame, stirring continuously until the mixture turns thick.
  6. Add the roasted peanuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios, sesame seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, cardamom powder and salt to the jaggery syrup. Stir well until it turns thick.
  7. Grease a plate, pour the mixture and allow it to cool completely.
  8. Cut and store in an airtight box.
