Ingredients:
• 1/2 packet – Angel Hair Pasta
• 1 – big Onion (sliced)
• 3 – Green chillies (slit)
• 1/2 cup – Carrot (chopped)
• 1 cup – Cabbage (shredded)
• 1/2 cup – Green peas (frozen)
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds + Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 1/4 tsp – Hing powder
• a few Curry leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Ginger (grated)
• oil as needed
• salt to taste
Method:
- Cook the pasta as per the package instructions.
- Heat oil and add the mustard seeds. When the seeds splutter, add urad dal, hing, curry leaves and grated ginger and fry for a few minutes.
- Add the onions and green chillies and cook until the onions are translucent.
- Add the carrots, green peas and turmeric powder and cook for a few minutes. Now add the cabbage and salt and cook again until the vegetables shrink a bit.
- Close the lid and cook on simmer until the vegetables gets well cooked.
- Add the pasta and toss everything gently until everything mixes well.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
