Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Mixed vegetables (pressure cooked)
• 2 – Potatoes (pressure cooked)
• 1/2 cup – Sago (soaked for 2 hours and strained)
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 2 – Green chillies (chopped)
• A few Curry leaves
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Fennel seed powder
• 1/4 tsp – Ginger (crushed)
• 1/4 cup – Bread crumbs
• Salt
• Oil for shallow frying

Method:

  1. Combine the cooked mixed vegetables, cooked potatoes, soaked sago, garam masala powder, fennel seed powder, bread crumbs in a large bowl.
  2. Meanwhile, heat few drops of oil.
  3. Saute the chopped onions, chopped green chillies, crushed ginger and curry leaves until the onions turns translucent.
  4. Add this cooked vegetables along with the already prepared sago-mixed vegetables mixture.
  5. Mix everything well along with enough salt.
  6. Make small balls from this mixture and keep aside.
  7. Heat the oil for shallow frying. Drop gently the already prepared patties and fry on both sides on a medium flame until the crust turns golden brown.
  8. Enjoy with ketchup for evening snacks.
