
Ingredients:
• Mutton – 1 kg
• For grinding:
• 4 – chillies
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1 piece – Turmeric
• 3 – chillies
• 2 – Onions
• 1 piece – Ginger
• 6 flakes – Garlic
• Other ingredients:
• 3 tbsp – Ghee
• 1/2 – Onion
• 6 – Cloves
• 1 piece – Cinnamon
• 2 tbsp – Vinegar to taste
• Sugar to taste
• Salt to taste
• A few – Coriander leaves
Method:
- Cut meat into bite size pieces and wash thoroughly.
- Grind all the masalas listed.
- Boil the meat in a pressure cooker with cloves, cinnamon and salt, till done.
- Remove the meat from the gravy.
- Heat ghee in a vessel and fry the meat till it turns brown and keep aside
- In the same ghee, fry the ground masala, stirring continuously.
- Sprinkle a little water, add fried meat with its gravy into the masala and stir.
- Add sugar, salt and vinegar to taste.
- Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
