Ingredients:

• 2 – karelas, washed and chopped finely
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1 tbsp grated fresh Coconut
• 1 tbsp roasted crushed Peanut
• 1 tbsp oil
• 1/2 cup finely chopped Onion
• 1 tsp finely chopped Green chillies

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and green chillies.
  2. When the onions are cooked, add the karelas along with salt, chilli powder and turmeric.
  3. Cover and cook over a low fire till the vegetable are soft.
  4. Then add the peanut and coconut. Stir and cook covered for a minute.
  5. Serve.
