Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Cooked Rajma beans
• 3 – Potatoes (cooked and mashed)
• 1- Onion (big and chopped)
• 3 – Green chillies (chopped)
• 1/2 tsp – Fennel seed powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tbsp – Coriander leaves (chopped)
• Salt
• 3 tbsp – Corn flour
• rolled oats (for crust)
• Oil
Method:
- Heat a few drops of oil and saute the onions and green chillies along with fennel seed powder and coriander leaves until the onions turns translucent.
- Put off the stove and let them cook.
- Mash the cooked rajma beans. Take the mashed beans along with mashed potatoes, cooked onions, garam masala powder and salt.
- Mix well and make medium-sized balls from the mixture.
- Make a paste with corn flour and water, drop the balls in the corn flour paste and roll immediately in rolled oats.
- Finish all the balls and keep in fridge at least for an hour.
- Heat oil for Deep Frying. Once the oil gets hot, drop the oats crusted rajma balls and fry until the crust turns brown.
- Drain the excess of oil with a paper towel and serve hot with ketchup.
