Ingredients:

• Onion – 2 big
• Gram Flour (Besan) – 1 cup
• Rice flour – 1/4 cup
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
• Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
• Baking Powder – ½ tsp (optional)
• Water – 200ml or more
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – for deep frying

Method:

  1. Cut onions lengthwise or 2×2 inch square
  2. Finely chop coriander leaves
  3. Mix all the ingredients except onions and oil in water. Mix well. Make sure no lumps are present.
  4. Now slowly mix in the onion.
  5. In a deep bottomed pan, heat oil.
  6. Take a spoonful at a time and carefully drop into the hot oil.
  7. Use a wire mesh steel ladle to collect and spread on tissue paper. This will make sure all the excess oil is absorbed on the tissue.
