Ingredients:
• 1.5 cup – Maida
• 1 cup – grated Carrot
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 2 – eggs
• 1/2 cup – oil
• 1 tsp – baking powder
• 1 tsp – baking soda
• Pinch – salt
• Cardamoms – a few, powdered
• 1/3 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• Orange essence – 3 drops
• Butter for greasing the pan – 1 tsp
Method:
- Sieve the maida, salt, baking powder and soda.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl and add the grated carrot to it.
- To this mixture, add the finely grounded sugar and then oil. Keep on stirring the mixture.
- Add the essence, cardamoms and the nutmeg powder to it.
- Put this batter in a pre-heated greased baking pan.
- Bake it for 35 min at 180 degrees C in the oven.
