• Palak-1 bunch
• Onion-1 medium
• Milk-1 cup
• Water-1 cup
• Oil-2 tbsp
• Jeera (Cumin Seeds) -1 tsp
• Lavang (Clove)-4
• Maida-1/2 tbsp
• Pepper-1/2 tsp
• Salt-3/4 tsp or as per taste


  1. Chop onion and palak.
  2. Heat oil in a pan (preferably a non-stick pan).
  3. Add jeera and cloves and wait till it splutters. Add onion and fry till soft.
  4. Add palak, fry till wilted.
  5. Add maida and fry till raw smell disappears.
  6. Let the mixture cool, then blend it in a blender.
  7. Boil the mixture along with milk and water after adding salt and pepper.
  8. Server hot with grated cheese.
