
Ingredients:
• 400 g – Cottage cheese (paneer)
• 4 – Onions
• 15 g – Ginger
• 4 – Tomatoes
• 1 – small Capsicum
• 1 tsp – Jeera (cumin seeds)
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tbsp – Dhania (coriander) powder
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper
• 1 tsp – soya sauce
• 1 tbsp – Tomato sauce or ketchup
• Salt to taste
• Oil to deep fry
Method:
- Cut the paneer into cubes and deep fry it. Keep it aside.
- Chop the onions, ginger, capsicum and tomatoes.
- In a pan heat 3 tbsps of oil.
- When oil is hot, add jeera.
- When jeera starts to pop add onions, ginger and chopped capsicum.
- Fry till the onions turn transparent.
- Now add chopped tomatoes and fry it till it softens.
- Take off heat, cool for 2 mins and grind.
- Heat the pan with a tbsp of oil on medium heat and the ground masala, garam masala, dhania powder, black pepper, red chilli powder and salt. Fry for 1 min.
- Now add soya sauce, tomato sauce and paneer. Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 mins.
- Keep stirring.
- Serve hot with rotis or rice.
