Ingredients:

• Paneer – 100g
• Green peas – 100 g
• Onion – 2
• Tomato – 2
• Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 3 tsp
• Chilly powder – 1.5 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp
• kasuti Methi – 1 tsp
• oil – 1/4 cup
• fresh Cream – 1/4 cup (optional)
• Butter – 1 tbsp
• Jeera powder – 1/2 tsp
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut paneer into small pieces.
  2. Boil onion for 5-7 minutes and grind to a smooth paste. Puree the tomatoes.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai, fry the paneer till golden brown and keep aside.
  4. In the same oil, season kasuri methi.
  5. Add the onion paste and saute for few minutes.
  6. Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree and saute till the raw smell goes.
  7. Now add all powders except jeera powder and garam masala powder. Saute till the oil separates.
  8. Add a cup of water and add green peas. Cook for 5 minutes. Then add paneer, salt and cook for 3 minutes.
  9. Add fresh cream and cook in low heat for 2 minutes.
  10. Put the butter on top and stir.
  11. Add garam masala powder, jeera powder and switch off.
  12. Stir and serve hot with naan, roti and parathas.
