Ingredients:
• Paneer – 100g
• Green peas – 100 g
• Onion – 2
• Tomato – 2
• Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
• Coriander powder – 3 tsp
• Chilly powder – 1.5 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp
• kasuti Methi – 1 tsp
• oil – 1/4 cup
• fresh Cream – 1/4 cup (optional)
• Butter – 1 tbsp
• Jeera powder – 1/2 tsp
• salt to taste
Method:
- Cut paneer into small pieces.
- Boil onion for 5-7 minutes and grind to a smooth paste. Puree the tomatoes.
- Heat oil in a kadai, fry the paneer till golden brown and keep aside.
- In the same oil, season kasuri methi.
- Add the onion paste and saute for few minutes.
- Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree and saute till the raw smell goes.
- Now add all powders except jeera powder and garam masala powder. Saute till the oil separates.
- Add a cup of water and add green peas. Cook for 5 minutes. Then add paneer, salt and cook for 3 minutes.
- Add fresh cream and cook in low heat for 2 minutes.
- Put the butter on top and stir.
- Add garam masala powder, jeera powder and switch off.
- Stir and serve hot with naan, roti and parathas.
